Vulamehlo Art Residence

Amasosha invites emerging artists for an intensive 3-month residency at Rebirth Project Space. Artists are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and find their story as they conduct research and build a portfolio of twenty-five works. The residency culminates in a group exhibition at Ikomkhulu.

The residency is facilitated by Rebirth Art Project, a community-centered project developed by Amasosha Art Movement that aims to teach, inspire, and plant change for youth and young creatives in Durban and surrounding areas through art classes, artist residency for emerging visual artists, and film screenings.
